  • Not needed with a multiple-entry visa or residence from the United States or Canada (visa types C1, C2 and C3 excluded) valid for at least 1 day from arrival; the stay cannot exceed that visa or residence's validity.
  • Not needed with a multiple-entry residence, or one valid for at least 90 days from arrival, from an EU country, the United Kingdom, Iceland, Norway or Switzerland (refugee or asylum status excluded).
  • Not needed with a multiple-entry Schengen C or D visa valid for up to 90 days, already in force and valid for at least 1 day from arrival; the stay cannot exceed that visa's validity.
  • Needs a machine-readable or biometric passport in good condition.
  • Needs a return or onward ticket.
  • Needs proof of funds of at least USD 100 per month or part of a month of stay.
