  • Apply online on the foreign ministry's Cancillería Digital platform (cancilleriadigital.mppre.gob.ve) before travel.
  • Needs a passport valid for at least 6 months to apply.
  • Needs a criminal record certificate issued less than 3 months before applying.
  • Needs medical insurance covering hospitalisation and repatriation, with at least 30,000 euros of cover.
  • Needs a return or onward ticket out of Venezuela.
  • Needs proof of funds and a hotel booking or invitation letter.

Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months.
