Greenland is outside the Schengen area. A Danish or other Schengen visa does not cover it.

  • Needs a visa whose sticker states it is valid for Greenland; a Danish or other Schengen visa alone is not valid for Greenland.
  • Not needed if holding a valid residence permit from Denmark or another Schengen country, or a valid residence card issued by an EU country under the EU rules, that entitles the holder to enter and reside in Denmark.

Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months.

The passport or travel document must be valid for three months past the intended date of departure from the Schengen area.
