The Faroe Islands are outside the Schengen area. A Danish or other Schengen visa does not cover them.

  • Needs a visa marked valid for the Faroe Islands; a Danish or other Schengen visa alone is not valid there.
  • Not needed with a valid residence permit from Denmark or another Schengen country that entitles the holder to enter and reside in Denmark.

Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months.

The passport or travel document must be valid for three months past the intended date of departure from the Schengen area.
