Conditions from official sources

  • Not needed for ordinary passport holders aged under 15 or over 50, who get the visa directly at airports and land borders for 30 days.
  • Not needed if born in Iraq.
  • Register for a Ministry of Health medical screening if staying more than 15 days.

Passport validity

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months.

The visa applicant's passport must be valid for a minimum of six months.

Iraq : Official passport holders are exempted from visa up to 90 days in any 180-day period. Ordinary passport holder Iraqi nationals under the age of 15 and over the age of 50 are exempted from visa up to 90 days in any 180-day period. Ordinary passport holder Iraqi nationals between the ages of 15-50 are required to have visa to enter Türkiye. Ordinary passport holders between the ages of 15-50 who hold a valid Schengen members or USA, UK, Ireland visa or residence permit may get their single entry e-Visas valid for one month via the website www.evisa.gov.tr , provided that they meet certain conditions..
