Conditions from official sources

  • Needs a Libyan tourism company registered with the Passports, Nationality and Foreigners Affairs Authority to sponsor the visa.
  • Needs to upload the tourism company's letter naming the tour group and the places to be visited.
  • Must hold at least USD 1,000 or the equivalent in a convertible currency.
  • Not needed if aged 17 or under or 55 or over on the date of entry.

Passport validity

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months.

Possession of a travel document issued by the competent authorities, valid for not less than six months, entitling its holder to return to the issuing country, together with a copy thereof.

Libya : Diplomatic and official passport holders are exempted from visa for their travels up to 90 days within any six months. Ordinary passport holder Libyan citizens, under the age of 16 and above the age of 45 are exempted from visa up to 90 days within any 180 day period for their touristic visits. Ordinary passport holders between the age of 16 and 45 are required to have visa. Ordinary passport holders between those ages with a valid Schengen members or USA, UK, Ireland visa or residence permit may get their one month period single entry e-Visas via the website www.evisa.gov.tr .
